Hello dearies,
Hope you are enjoying the summer heat like I am. Gives me the chance to wear kaftans and wrappers (some of my traditional wear). My hair is plaited going all back in what Nigerians call ‘didi’ (Aka Inverted plaits). I dislike hair touching my body when it’s hot so I have the plaits rolled and held with hair pins. I love the simplicity and it looked perfect in the professional/work environment. Here’s a quick inspiration for work

For my Sunday OOTD, I was channelling the African Queen in me. I felt the hair accessory brought out the beauty of my traditional attire and my protective hairstyle.

I wore my Nigerian silk Iro and Buba made by one of my besties (Miss Adefarakan). Her clothing line brand; Olivade Wear. This was made especially for me. Pretty much all my Nigerian outfits posted here were actually courtesy of her and our mummy 🙂 I am glad she is finally taking it a step further to make for other people.

Oh, been trying to Improve on my make up skills. Sunday is the only time I get to put full on makeup. Do you think I have improved? Got compliments so thought I should share quickly. Wishing you an amazing week.

Kisses,
Lady

Thank you dear for your consistent support and comments I truly appreciate you. It’s not surprising Cos d hairstyle was classed as extremely razz/local lol. Even I hated the style! So, not many Nigerians opt for didi. Wow, I need to post more traditional clothes to keep you updated on our trends 🙂 hope you have a fulfilled week.xxx
